Karl is a seasoned Project Management expert who has more than 5 years of experience with facility and event management in collegiate sports. Before joining SFC, Karl demonstrated his versatility by supervising operations across various departments at the U.S. National Whitewater Center including Project Management, Facilities, Events, Sales, and more, proving that he can adapt and excel in diverse roles. He uses his adaptability and previous experience in his current role as Project Manager for Development services of The Sports Facilities Companies.
In his role as Project Manager for The Sports Facilities Companies Development Team, Karl navigates the intricacies of project management from the initial design phase through to procurement. He embodies our commitment to excellence by forging strategic partnerships with stakeholders, vendors, and industry leaders. Together, they collaborate to meticulously plan and execute the project vision, catering to the unique needs of both public and private clients.
While working at Northwestern University as the Associate Director of Facilities and Operations, Karl oversaw the closeout process and day-to-day operations of a 420,000-square-foot facility athletic facility. He also led the renovation project to transform the school’s gymnasium into a state-of-the-art fencing and golf practice facility.
