Luke is an emerging finance professional who recently worked as a Finance Accounting Intern at MFA Oil Company. He now uses the skills learned in this role to serve The Sports Facilities Companies as a Regional Finance Accountant.
At SFC, Luke provides essential assistance to our facility accounting teams. He is responsible for the supervision of financial record-keeping and reporting within his assigned region, ensuring the accuracy of all financial documents. Luke is skilled in evaluating the financial performance of facilities across his region and develops strategic plans for effective cost reduction and revenue generation.
While working for MFA Oil Company, Luke was responsible for auditing and revising the internal controls within the company and their plant locations. He worked in multiple departments, ranging from the Petro card division to inventory, updating the inventory accounts and cross-checking for errors in the accounting software. He also reviewed and updated multi-locational contract leases for the company.
