Let's create something today

Hurst, TX

Central Aquatics Center is Hurst’s neighborhood-friendly community pool, offering a relaxed, family-first environment that’s especially welcoming for young children and early swimmers. Located at 715 Mary Drive, this long-standing venue has a loyal local following and is home to many of the city’s core aquatics programs, including learn-to-swim classes, lap-lane training, sensory-friendly swim times, and seasonal special events. Designed with families and children under 10 in mind, Central Aquatics Center provides a comfortable place to play, build water confidence, and connect with neighbors all summer long.

Hurst, TX

Chisholm Aquatics Center is Hurst’s vibrant, family-friendly outdoor water park, featuring thrilling water slides, expansive play areas, and relaxing spaces designed for all ages. Located at 2200 Norwood Drive, this larger of the city’s two aquatics centers is especially popular with older kids and teens, offering a more robust mix of attractions while still welcoming families looking to cool off, play, and make summer memories together. Season passes include access to both Chisholm Aquatics Center and Central Aquatics Center, giving guests more ways to enjoy the water all season long.

Lincoln, NE

The Breslow Ice Hockey Center is a 53,000-square-foot facility located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The arena features a single NHL-sized ice sheet (85' x 200') and offers year-round public skating sessions, figure skating programs, youth and adult hockey leagues, and broomball. The center provides Learn-to-Skate classes for all ages, private lessons, and hosts seasonal skating shows and competitions. Amenities include five public locker rooms, two college team locker rooms, three rentable party rooms, a conference room, warming room, concession stand, skate rental, and skate sharpening services. The facility serves as the home rink for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln men's and women's club hockey teams, as well as local youth hockey and figure skating clubs.

Step 1

Development Team Planning Session

A deep dive that walks clients down the path of how projects get funded, introducing them to the SFA process. It starts with a review of existing partnerships as well as the Program Plan, Pro Forma and other data sets as we test assumptions, provide additional insight and develop strategy that might be relevant to supporting the goal of getting the project financed.

Step 2

Project Plan & Timeline

This is where the SFA team builds out a preliminary project plan and detailed timeline based on action items and strategy discussed during the initial planning session. It is also the time in which we establish an open line of communication with the client/core stakeholder team in an effort to drive momentum, focus on action and benchmark results against the project plan and timeline.

Step 3

Project Funding and Partnership Development Tool Kit

This is a set of critical documents produced by SFA, which includes a Market Feasibility Study, a Site-Selection Score Card, a Facility Program Plan and Construction Start Up Cost Estimate, Institutional-Grade Cash Flow Forecasts, Economic Impact Analysis, Stakeholder Presentation Material, and additional performance data from existing SFM facilities.

Step 4

Stakeholder Presentations and Partnership Development

This phase starts with an official SFA led presentation that communicates the broad vision for the project, invites collaboration and opens a line of communication with key stakeholders. The focus is on leveraging the presentation to generate more focused meetings and discussions with key partners and user groups in the weeks that follow the presentation.

Why SFA?

No company has the experience supporting venue development projects or relationships that SFA has. As partners with the International City/County Managers Association, we’ve become a trusted resource for communities looking to build sports tourism destinations. With the SFM Network, we also manage the largest group of youth sports facilities in the United States. Through our partnerships with SFD and SFM, we are a one-stop shop for every phase of sports facility development.
