Paradise Coast Sports Complex (PCSC) and Sports Facilities Companies (SFC) announced that it will be the new home of the United Soccer League’s (USL) expansion team, USL Naples.

This news was revealed at a press event on Jan. 17, where the USL awarded the franchise to Naples, Fla. USL Naples will begin play in 2025.

On January 19, the long-awaited West Monroe Sports & Events Center hosted a grand opening event to mark its first official day in operation, drawing more than 200 excited local attendees. The new sports complex features a plethora of amenities designed to promote physical and mental well-being for residents, as well as attract quality youth sporting events and regional tournaments to West Monroe.

Ohio County Schools wrapped up their “Gateway to the West” robotics middle school competition Thursday.

For two days, dozens of students from across the country, and even Canada, put their robots to the test at The Highlands Sports Complex.

This week’s event marked the first time the tournament took place, but school officials plan to continue the competition in the future.

“We have 60 middle school teams competing in a round-robin tournament that culminated into a single elimination tournament with a champion,” Ohio County Schools Innovation Director JoJo Shay said.

A massive new indoor pickleball facility in Macon, Ga., has officially been named Rhythm and Rally Sports and Events.

The state-of-the-art complex will feature 32 courts: 16 upstairs and 16 downstairs, with four pods of four courts on each level. The 150,000-square-foot pickleball facility will offer climate-controlled courts, day-use lockers, showers, and a pro shop. Rhythm and Rally Sports and Events will welcome local players while also attracting state, regional, and national tournaments.

Publix Sports Park has been named the National Complex of the Year for 2023 by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA).

Publix Sports Park, 50 Chip Seal Parkway, Panama City Beach, is a $42 million facility that offers a wide variety of sports for the community to participate in.

According to a press release from Visit Panama City Beach, USSSA has approximately 3.5 million participants competing in 13 nationally sanctioned sports in over 1,000 parks across the country.

Publix Sports Park features nine AstroTurf fields, 13 multipurpose fields, quality LED lighting, dedicated tournament buildings, two championship fields with seating for up to 1,500 spectators, and more than 1,000 parking spots.

Saturday, August 19 marked the much-anticipated grand opening of the Fort Bend Epicenter, a day of celebration, community engagement, and an undeniable spirit of unity. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., residents of Fort Bend County and surrounding areas came together to witness the unveiling of what promises to be a cornerstone for the community.
