Patrick O’Brien

Patrick is a veteran in the youth sports venue industry with over 15 years of experience. In the past, he has worked as the General Manager, Director of Sports Programming, Director of Facilities, and Director of Operations for various sports venues including the largest indoor sports complex in North America, Spooky Nook Sports. Patrick now serves as the Senior Vice President of Venue Management for The Sports Facilities Companies.

As Senior Vice President of Venue Management, Patrick oversees the operational performance of a diverse portfolio of sports and entertainment venues within The Sports Facilities Companies. He drives financial growth, enhances community engagement, and ensures operational excellence across the SF Network. Patrick leads strategic initiatives to improve venue performance, guides facility leaders in implementing best practices for business development, and fosters sustainable community growth through innovative programming. With a focus on economic impact, he collaborates with stakeholders to optimize operations, manage risk, and enhance visitor experiences. Patrick’s expertise in leveraging data analytics and technology ensures that each facility aligns with client goals while delivering exceptional community value.

Patrick was an integral member of the leadership team during the pre-opening phase of Spooky Nook Sports, which is now one of the most well-known indoor sports complexes in the country. He was also one of the key operational liaisons to the United States women’s national field hockey team.
