Tyler is a sports and management professional with over five years of experience in event planning, facility operations, and development. During his career, Tyler has successfully orchestrated major sporting events and driven innovative projects. Now, as the General Manager of Emerald Acres Sports Connection, Tyler will use his interpersonal and operating skills to successfully manage the facility and engage the local community.
As General Manager, Tyler directs the Emerald Acres Sports Connection’s facility staff, spearheading initiatives aimed at maximizing performance and fostering growth. His responsibilities extend to overseeing business development and event bookings, crucial for enhancing the facility’s role as a hub of community engagement. Tyler’s efforts ensure that the Emerald Acres Sports Connection delivers dynamic programming that enriches the community’s experience through sports, recreation, events, and wellness initiatives.
Before his time at SFC, Tyler previously served as the Director of Facilities and Event Management at Tulane University. Additionally, he has been a part of many universities’ athletic departments, helping drive efficient functionality.
