Shaka is an advanced management professional with over twenty years of experience working in the sports industry, ranging from community-based organizations to professional teams. As General Manager, Shaka will use her passion for community building, individual and team growth, and sports industry knowledge to take Core4 Athletic Complex to the next level.
As General Manager, Shaka is responsible for overseeing staff management, business development initiatives, and event booking. Working closely with her team, Shaka curates a diverse and innovative range of programs tailored to further the development of athletes using the facility.
Before joining SFC, Shaka led 40+ athletes to the Junior Olympics, assisted 30+ athletes in obtaining sports scholarships, and helped NFL athletes improve their 40-yard times. Shaka’s career includes working with the UGA Athletics Association, the Atlanta Hawks (NBA), and the Atlanta Thrashers (NHL).
