John Roberts

John brings over 15 years of management and financial experience, previously serving as the Senior Associate Commissioner for Operations and Chief Financial Officer for the Atlantic Sun Conference.  John takes his wealth of knowledge, passion for guiding strong teams, and drive to make a major impact in his role as Regional General Manager for The Sports Facilities Companies.

In this role, John is responsible for managing the operations of multiple venues in his region. His focus is on creating sustainable business models that enhance community engagement and drive financial success. John leads by example, emphasizing the importance of staff development and community partnerships in achieving revenue targets. He oversees venue budgets, implements marketing strategies, and ensures that each facility maintains exceptional customer service standards. John’s collaborative approach involves working closely with stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and sustainable growth, ensuring that each venue under his management delivers memorable experiences for both audiences and athletes.

During his time with ASUN, Roberts oversaw the coordination and execution of operations for all 21 of the conference’s championship sports. He also handled the management of awards programs, broadcasts, and officiating. In addition, Roberts was responsible for overseeing the organizational budget and managing human resources, including payroll and benefits for a team of 19 staff members.
