Jason Clement is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Sports Facilities Companies (SFC), the nation’s leading resource for the development and management of sports, recreation, wellness, and events facilities. Under his leadership, SFC has become the largest network of community-based and tournament sports venues in the United States, representing nearly 100 managed facilities and a 4,000-member team across the SF Network.
Since its founding in 2003, SFC has supported more than 3,500 communities through its comprehensive suite of services, including sports tourism and recreation master planning, feasibility studies, program development, and turn-key professional facility management. SFC-affiliated venues welcome approximately 30 million guest visits each year and produce significant annual economic impact approaching $1 billion for the cities, counties, and destination partners they serve.
Purpose-built to support the public sector, Jason has positioned SFC as a trusted partner to municipalities, convention and visitors bureaus, park districts, and community developers seeking sustainable, high-performing sports and recreation assets. The company’s scale and national footprint reflect a long-standing commitment to operational excellence, community impact, and the revitalization of essential public infrastructure.
Jason is formally trained and licensed as an architect. He began his career in sports architecture before transitioning into commercial development and corporate real estate management – experience that revealed a gap in professionalized operations for youth and amateur sports. This insight ultimately led to the creation and continued growth of SFC.
Beyond his leadership in the industry, Jason is a passionate supporter of organizations that strengthen families and communities. He has founded, chaired, or served on the boards of numerous nonprofits, including Habitat for Humanity, Man Up and Go, and Calvary Christian High School. In 2022, he was appointed by the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives to the boards of Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) and Space Florida.
