The Round Rock Sports Center features 47,775 square feet of flexible, open playable space, which can be configured into six high school basketball courts or 12 high school volleyball courts.
With a seating capacity of over 1,300 spectators and a total capacity of 3,053, this venue is perfect for hosting large-scale tournaments and events. The center’s versatility is truly remarkable, accommodating a diverse range of sports including basketball, volleyball, table tennis, wrestling, badminton, gymnastics, and even archery.
The city plans to add two additional courts, expected to be finished by early 2026. This expansion will bring the total number of basketball courts at the facility to eight, and will also include championship court seating, a secondary facility entrance, and additional parking.
Since its opening in 2014, the Round Rock Sports Center has been a significant contributor to the local economy, helping bring in nearly $16 million in economic activity per year for the city. Sports tourism in Round Rock has contributed more than $162 million in economic activity since the center’s opening.
FieldhouseUSA – Frisco, Texas
FieldhouseUSA is an enormous multi-million-dollar indoor sports complex located in Frisco. This 144,000-square-foot facility is a testament to Texas’ commitment to providing top-notch sports facilities for its youth.
The complex features 12 full-sized basketball courts, all of which can be converted to volleyball courts, providing maximum flexibility for various events and tournaments. In addition to the courts, FieldhouseUSA includes a turf arena for soccer, football, and lacrosse.
Each court is equipped with three-tiered bleachers seating approximately 300 spectators per court. The facility also includes a 5,000-square-foot food court, large-screen LCD televisions on each court, a 10,000-square-foot athletic training facility, and a sporting goods store.
FieldhouseUSA serves the area residents by offering year-round league play in team sports, such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, flag football, and futsal. The facility averages over 1.5 million visitors annually and is geared toward both recreational and competitive athletes.

Legends Event Center – Bryan, Texas
Legends Event Center, which opened in December 2022, has quickly become a hub for sports and community events in the Bryan-College Station area. This 120,000+ square-foot multipurpose facility offers numerous amenities for a wide range of sports and activities.
The center features eight basketball courts, which can be converted into 16 volleyball courts, providing ample space for large tournaments and simultaneous events. In addition to the indoor courts, the facility boasts four outdoor sand volleyball courts, expanding its offerings and allowing for beach volleyball events.
One of the unique features of Legends Event Center is its indoor turf area, which provides a versatile space for sports like soccer, football, and lacrosse. The facility also includes an arcade, meeting/party rooms, and an outdoor patio area.
Legends Event Center has already made a significant impact on the local economy. In 2024, the Adidas 3SSB Spring Series Basketball Tournaments brought over 4,300 top-tier basketball players and 5,500 attendees, generating more than $5 million for the Bryan-College Station area.
Hill Country Indoor Sports & Fitness – Bee Cave, Texas
Hill Country Indoor (HCI), opened in 2017, is a privately owned, 140,000-square-foot indoor fitness and sports facility that has quickly become a cornerstone of the Bee Cave community. This comprehensive facility offers a wide range of amenities that cater to athletes of all ages and skill levels.
The heart of HCI is its five convertible indoor courts, which can be used for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. The Fort Bend Epicenter, which opened its doors in August 2023, is a game-changer in the world of indoor sports facilities. This massive 230,000-square-foot venue is designed to be the hub of activity for the region, offering an unparalleled experience for athletes and spectators alike.
The Epicenter boasts six basketball courts that can be converted into 12 volleyball courts, providing ample space for tournaments and competitions. What sets this facility apart is its impressive arena seating, which can accommodate up to 10,000 people.
One of the Epicenter’s standout features is its 38,000-square-foot covered outdoor pavilion, which offers additional space for events or warm-up areas.
The Epicenter’s versatility allows it to host a wide range of events, from basketball and volleyball tournaments to wrestling, cheer, gymnastics, concerts, and even graduations. It also serves as a safe haven during natural disasters, providing shelter and resources for displaced residents.
In July 2024, it was announced that the professional volleyball team League One Volleyball (LOVB) Houston of League One Volleyball Pro would be the first major permanent tenant and play their home matches at the arena. Their first match was held on January 9, 2025.
