Dan is an award-winning restauranteur and certified food and beverage executive with over 40 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry. Through his work, he’s helped increase revenue and guest satisfaction for a “who’s who” of venues and organizations, including the Cleveland Indians, the House of Blues, and IHG Hotels & Resorts. Dan takes his penchant for innovation and his deep industry knowledge to his role as Food and Beverage Special Advisor for the Sports Facilities Companies.
As a food and beverage special advisor, Dan develops and implements standard operating procedures for opening and operating restaurants, bars, and concession stands in the venues that we help to develop and manage. He also works with our development services team to design the food and beverage areas for SF Network venues and makes equipment recommendations. Dan provides on-site leadership where needed so that staff at our venues are trained and given the knowledge needed to provide guests with excellent service for years to come.
Dan is the author of “How to Be a General Manager of a Freestanding Restaurant” and has helped organizations win numerous industry awards, including Best Music Venue and the Superior Hotel Award.
