Cole Lacey

Cole has over 20 years of experience within the recreation management and tourism industries. He has previously worked as the Director of Sports at Crown Sports Center, a state-of-the-art sports complex that was one of the largest facilities of its kind in its region. Cole also recently served as the Sports Marketing Representative and Assistant Tourism Manager for Wicomico County Recreation, Parks & Tourism (Maryland.) In this role, he obtained, retained, and developed sports tournaments and other events with the goal of driving tourism revenue to Wicomico County. His experience with sports venues, tournaments, and events prepared him well for his current role as Vice President of Venue Management for The Sports Facilities Companies.

Through his leadership, Cole guides our SF Network venues in their efforts to attain operational efficiency, drive economic impact, and foster community growth. His responsibilities range from leading teams and procuring venues for top-tier national sports organizations to driving projects from feasibility to funding and into the development stage. Cole guides facility leaders to not only achieve operational excellence but also enhance community engagement.

While working with Wicomico County Recreation, Parks & Tourism, Cole collaborated on the USSSA Eastern Nationals, the largest girls’ fastpitch tournament within one location. He also helped with the Governor’s Challenge Basketball Tournament which is the largest holiday high school basketball tournament in the country.
