Adam Mitchell is a highly experienced General Manager with 9 years of experience in ice rink management and program direction. His extensive background in facility management, hockey operations, coaching, and scouting makes him a valuable asset to his role as General Manager at The Davis Center at the Harlem Meer.
As General Manager, Adam oversees the day-to-day operations and seasonal surface changes. He manages the overall maintenance of the Ice Rink, ensures the proper function of the Zamboni and other equipment, oversees the Adult Hockey League, assists with daily scheduling, and works directly with community partners and programs. His expertise is crucial in ensuring the facility runs smoothly and effectively serves the community.
Prior to joining SFC, Adam held positions at Black Bear Sports Group and Firland Management, where he served as the Director of Hockey Operations. In these roles, he honed his skills in facility management, hockey coaching, and scouting. His diverse background in the sports and recreation industry has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of facility operations and program management.
