On July 4, 2026, the USA will celebrate its 250th birthday. America 250, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence—when 56 signatures helped launch the American experiment on July 4, 1776—is a milestone that doubles as the largest anniversary observance and the largest synchronized Fourth of July celebration in U.S. history.
This once-in-a-generation effort aims to engage all 350 million Americans… and how else to do that than celebrate at the local level, in spaces where the community already gathers? What’s more American than that?
Across our great nation, SF Network facilities are answering that call. These venues show how America 250 can come alive on the ground—not as just another July event, but as a meaningful part of a once-in-250-year celebration.
Let Freedom Ring
Bill Noble Park – Gardendale, Alabama
June 25
- A free, family-friendly community celebration
- Fireworks, live music, patriotic tributes, food trucks, vendors, historical reenactments, free games and activities, and interactive displays celebrating the spirit and history of the nation
- Designed to bring together families, veterans, local businesses, and the broader community for a shared evening of patriotism and celebration
Why It Stands Out
Bill Noble Park’s America 250 programming stands out because it frames the moment as a community-wide act of remembrance as much as a celebration. Historical reenactments, patriotic tributes, interactive displays, and a free-to-attend format give Let Freedom Ring a deeper civic texture, helping it feel rooted in the weight of the 250th anniversary.
Liberty Launch 2026
Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater – Albertville, Alabama
July 2
- A free, family-friendly festival and local gathering
- Live music, food trucks, inflatables, children’s activities, and more
- A 300-drone show by Sky Elements, helping anchor the venue’s growing Independence Day programming for North Alabama
Why It Stands Out
Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater stands out because it gives the semi-quincentennial a modern, high-visibility expression. The combination of live music, family activities, and a 300-drone show creates a big-event atmosphere that feels celebratory, contemporary, and worthy of a national 250th anniversary moment.
America’s 250 Block Party
Paradise Coast Sports Complex – Naples, Florida
July 3
- Free and public open block party
- Bounce houses, face painting, live music, and themed food and beverage specials
- A brand-new PCSC Treasure Hunt, where guests search around the complex for 13 patriotic and historical artifacts to win prizes
- All World Cup games broadcasted on Southwest FL’s largest video boards
- The day continues with an FC Naples vs. Portland Hearts of Pine match at 7:30 p.m
Why It Stands Out
Paradise Coast Sports Complex stands out because it treats America 250 like the major national milestone it is, building an all-day experience that stretches from family activities into live sports and shared viewing moments. By combining patriotic programming with a treasure hunt, a major watch party, and an evening FC Naples match, the complex creates the kind of destination-scale activation that feels bigger, more immersive, and more memorable than a typical holiday event.
Why These America 250 Celebrations Matter
Facilities like these show that America 250 is being activated as a once-in-a-generation celebration. Different formats, same larger purpose: helping communities mark a historic American milestone in ways people will actually feel.
