Nestled at the southeast corner of the Avienda development near Highway 212 and Powers Boulevard in Chanhassen, Minnesota, the Chanhassen Bluffs Community Center is the Twin Cities region’s premier destination for sport, wellness, and community gathering. Opening following a late 2026 groundbreaking, this publicly owned facility spans approximately 193,712 square feet and brings together two NHL-regulation ice sheets, three full basketball courts convertible for volleyball and pickleball, a multi-use turf area, batting cage, and a 3,400-square-foot indoor playground with party-room functionality. A fitness center, dance and group fitness studios, two community rooms with a covered outdoor terrace and fire pit, and a full concessions and catering operation ensure a seamless experience for families and competitive athletes alike. Designed to serve residents first while hosting ice hockey tournaments and regional sports events, the facility is projected to generate nearly 4,500 hotel room nights annually by year five, all without displacing the everyday community programming at its core.
