This outstanding redevelopment project is set to be the next “go to” destination for community recreation and sports in Kentucky. This innovative facility, built on the venerable grounds of the former Bluegrass Downs and the historic Stuart Nelson Park, is none other than McCracken County’s own Paducah Sports Park. Located at the heart of America’s inland waterways in the charming river town of Paducah, KY, this symbol of rebirth and transformation presents a fresh new chapter while honoring its historical significance.

 

Marking a new era for Kentucky’s sports sector, Paducah Sports Park is positioned as the go-to destination for athletes, families, and sports enthusiasts from all corners of the region. The state-of-the-art outdoor sports venue, with an anticipated launch in Spring of 2026, will feature nine baseball diamonds (300-350 feet), twenty youth/softball diamonds (225 feet), and ten multi-purpose long fields designed to host various sports and community activities.

 

Additionally, the park will include a retail shop, a community playground, a disc golf course, a picnic grove, and premium food and beverage offerings; along with a newly designed Stuart Nelson Park memorial. This comprehensive range of amenities ensures unmatched value and an inclusive environment for tournaments and events. Paducah Sports Park is set to become a cornerstone of athletic excellence and community engagement, ushering in a new chapter for sports and recreation in Kentucky.

ICE at The Parks

Arlington, TX

ICE at The Parks is a full-sized, regulation NHL hockey rink located inside The Parks Mall at Arlington. Opened in November 2002, the facility offers year-round public skating sessions, figure skating, hockey leagues, and broomball. It also provides Learn-to-Skate programs for all ages, private lessons, and hosts seasonal skating shows and competitions. Amenities include a pro shop, skate sharpening services, and on-site concessions. The rink is accessible via the mall’s east entrance near the AMC Theatre and East Parking Garage.
