On January 10, SFA COO Evan Eleff presented to more than 60 professionals at the Wisconsin Sports Tourism Town Hall Workshop. The session, titled Keys to Sports Tourism Destination Planning, focused on pivotal experiences, insights and considerations for successfully developing a facility that can compete and win in today’s rapidly growing and increasingly competitive youth and amateur sports tourism industry. Attendees at the two-day event represented some of the state’s most active sports commissions, conventions and visitors bureaus, parks & recreation departments, universities, YMCAs, and municipalities. The Workshop is part of an ongoing, nation-wide communication and education series being conducted by SFA, The Huddle Up Group, and EventConnect.
