Jessica Young

Jessica Young is a dedicated and versatile professional with a strong background in sports management and youth development. After graduating from Winthrop University with a degree in Exercise Science, Jessica leveraged her collegiate experience as a volleyball player to develop a passion for coaching and tournament management. She coached high school and elite club volleyball teams and coordinated numerous tournaments across the southeast, honing her skills in event management and facility operations.

As Project Coordinator for SFD, Jessica brings her expertise in sports facility management and event coordination to support the development and execution of projects. Her experience as the first women’s Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for both girls and boys varsity teams at a local school in Rock Hill, SC, has equipped her with strong leadership and organizational skills. Additionally, Jessica has served as a head coach for club volleyball, further demonstrating her ability to manage teams and develop programs. Notably, she has played and coached in four facilities developed and managed by SFC, providing her with a deep understanding of facility operations and management.

Jessica’s achievements in collegiate volleyball are impressive, having earned two championship titles: one in D1 (2019) and another in D2 (2017). Her diverse background in sports management, combined with her passion for youth sports development, makes her a valuable asset to The Sports Facilities Companies.
